Aether Unit

The Aether Unit is the non-material organizing rmfd chronogeometry constructed when Gforce acts upon magnetic charge. It organizes the complementary dimensions produced by the primordial Singularity bifurcation and provides the geometric container in which one Ligamen Circulatus may occupy one spin-position, or loxodromic channel, at an exposed moment.

The Chronogeometry of the Aether Unit

Orthogonal Temporal Dimensions, 16π² State Space, and Ledger-One Deformation Closure

David W. Thomson IIIJuly 24, 2026DOI 10.5281/zenodo.21538113

The paper derives the primitive carrier, temporal phase manifold, finite magnetic loxodromic channels, one-state area closure, four-state orientation measure, completed Ligamen scan, elastic Ledger-One response, and the local geometric basis of holonomy.

Authority statement

Creation belongs to the primordial Singularity bifurcation. The Aether Unit does not create dimensions or matter. It is the non-material organizing rmfd chronogeometry constructed when Gforce acts upon magnetic charge. The two carrier spheres are complementary negative and positive electrostatic-charge sectors of one primitive Aether Unit; they are not particles. The loxodromic channels are distributed magnetic-charge geometry. A Ligamen Circulatus supplies material mass geometry when one channel is occupied.

Conceptual sequence

Singularity bifurcation
Complementary dimensions and charge sectors arise.
Aether Unit construction
Gforce acting upon magnetic charge organizes the primitive rmfd geometry.
Loxodromic channels
Four spin-position channels are available.
Ligamen occupation
Only one spin position may be filled at a time.
Completed scan
The occupied channel is scanned during one quantum moment.
Ledger-One deformation
Curl and rmfd vary reciprocally while temp remains invariant.
Holonomy
Closed transport records the accumulated geometric consequence.

Canonical QMU identity

\[A_u\equiv\mathrm{rmfd}=\frac{m_e\lambda_C^{3}F_q^{2}}{e_{emax}^{2}}=16\pi^{2}k_C.\]

The independently established identity \(A_u=16\pi^{2}k_C\) and the derived unsigned state-space measure \(\Omega_A=16\pi^{2}\) share the same factor. Their agreement is a structural registration: the complete four-sector orientation capacity is the natural geometry of the Aether-unit rmfd quantity.

Primitive geometry and historical imagery

The normalized Euclidean carrier radius is \(a=1\). The symbol \(a\) may be retained to show uniform Euclidean scaling, but it is not automatically \(\lambda_C\) or another measured length. The current historical images remain valid representations of the Aether Unit when spin position is read as loxodromic channel and the single-occupation rule is retained.

Aether Unit chronogeometry showing four spin-position loxodromic channels for electron, antiproton, proton, and positron roles
Historical APM representation of the four electron, antiproton, proton, and positron spin-position channels. The labels identify loxodromic-channel roles, not four simultaneously occupied particles. Only one channel may be occupied at a time.
Historical curvature sequence from circle through sphere and toroid to the 16 pi squared double-loxodrome geometry
Historical curvature sequence: circle \(2\pi\), sphere \(4\pi\), toroid \(4\pi^{2}\), and complete double-loxodrome orientation geometry \(16\pi^{2}\). The modern paper separates this angular state-space measure from physical area.

One-state area and four-state orientation capacity

\[A_A=\lambda_C^{2},\qquad (\sigma_T,\sigma_S)\in\mathbb Z_2\times\mathbb Z_2,\qquad \Omega_A=4(4\pi^{2})=16\pi^{2}.\]
QuantityValueMeaning
One complete temporal phase torus\({\lambda_C}^{2}\)Physical area of one complete double-loxodrome orientation state.
Each orientation state\(4\pi^{2}\)Unsigned angular measure and potential area capacity \(\lambda_C^{2}\).
Four-state formal capacity\(4{\lambda_C}^{2}\)Potential capacity; not four simultaneously realized material surfaces.
Complete unsigned state space\(16\pi^{2}\)Dimensionless orientation measure.
Realized exposed configuration\({\lambda_C}^{2}\)Only one orientation state and one spin-position channel are occupied.

Quantum moment and completed Ligamen scan

\[t_q=\frac1{F_q}=\frac{\lambda_C}{c}=\frac{h}{m_ec^{2}}.\]

One Ligamen Circulatus scans one directed occupied loxodromic channel during one exposed quantum moment. The visible branch completes an unsigned \(2\pi\) phase. The hidden return contributes a complementary unsigned \(2\pi\), giving complete unsigned \(4\pi\) closure while signed temporal phase cancels:

\[\Delta\Pi_{T,\mathrm{cycle}}=+2\pi-2\pi=0.\]

No second positive elapsed duration is assigned to the hidden return. The internal scan phase is not independently exposed to four-dimensional matter; the observed particle is the completed scan rather than a separately exposed point on the path.

Conserved scan area and particle invariants

The newer formulation expresses the area historically assigned to an occupied spin-position segment as the completed scan-area invariant:

\[A_{\mathrm{scan}}=\int \ell_L(\theta,\eta)\,ds_{A,\eta}=\lambda_C^{2},\qquad \ell_L=\frac{dA_{\mathrm{scan}}}{ds_A}.\]
\[\mathrm{angm}=m_e\lambda_C^{2}F_q=h,\qquad \mathrm{mflx}=\frac{h}{e_{emax}^{2}},\qquad \mathrm{mchg}=\frac{m_e}{e_{emax}^{2}}.\]

The exact SI bridge is \(\Phi_0/\mathrm{ccf}=\mathrm{mflx}/2\). The one-half factor is structurally compatible with half-spin chronogeometry. A future holonomy derivation may establish it as a completed spin result.

Ledger One: why the geometry is physically operative

\[A_u\,\mathrm{curl}=\mathrm{rmfd}\,\mathrm{curl}=\mathrm{temp}=c^{2}={\lambda_C}^{2}{F_q}^{2}.\]
\[\mathrm{curl}=\frac1{\mathrm{mchg}\,\ell_L}.\]

Temp is the maximum allowable QMU temperature unit, analogous to \(c\) as the maximum allowable speed. Ordinary temperatures are fractions of temp. QMU curl is a scalar matter–Aether registration and is not the vector-calculus operator \(\nabla\times\). The Aether Unit represents the organizing state; curl represents matter loading. Their reciprocal variation preserves the invariant maximum product temp.

Elastic deformation closure

The unloaded reference channel is selected by uniform winding, not by minimizing arc length or invoking an unspecified energy:

\[\frac{d\phi}{d\theta}=2\xi.\]

The first nonzero symmetry-compatible harmonic gives the minimal one-parameter deformation family within the stated Fourier class:

\[\phi_{\xi,\eta}(\theta)=\xi\left[2\theta+\eta\sin(2\theta)\right],\qquad |\eta|<1.\]

The local no-redistribution synchronization is a selected matter-coupled closure. Its cycle response is

\[\frac{L_A}{L_{A0}}=\frac{\mathrm{curl}}{\mathrm{curl}_0}=\frac{\bar\ell_{L0}}{\bar\ell_L}=\frac{A_{u0}}{A_u}=D(\eta).\]
\[\mathcal S_\eta=\left.\frac{d\ln D}{d\eta}\right|_{\eta=0}=-0.255378263343606\ldots\]
\[\frac{\delta L_A}{L_A}=\frac{\delta\mathrm{curl}}{\mathrm{curl}}=-\frac{\delta\bar\ell_L}{\bar\ell_L}=-\frac{\delta A_u}{A_u}=\mathcal S_\eta\,\delta\eta.\]

The dimensionless coordinate \(\eta\) is not itself a force or field. The next force-law problem is to derive which magnetic, gravity-related, electrostatic, or engineered loading selects the deformation amplitudes.

Holonomy: accumulated geometric memory

Ledger One determines how matter loading changes the local path. Curl registers the local deformation. Holonomy records the accumulated transformation or rotational memory after completed transport through that deformed geometry.

Constitutive sequence: matter loading → curl → local line-element deformation → completed transport → holonomy → observable consequence.

The deformed line element and its Ledger-One relation to curl are established. The exact curl-to-connection law remains to be derived. A \(D^{2}\) holonomy response therefore remains a conditional candidate rather than an established closure.

Primary QMU relationships

Conceptual role in APM

Space

The Aether unit gives space quantifiable participation. Space is not treated as a passive void; it is a structured field of Aether-unit availability and organization.

Charge

Electrostatic charge is interpreted as polarized Aether-unit participation attached to a charge source. Coulomb structure is therefore an Aether-unit relation.

Magnetic Charge

\({e_{emax}}^{2}\) is magnetic charge. It should not be called maximum magnetic charge. Only \({e_a}^{2}\) is the Aether maximum magnetic charge.

Gravity

Gravity is approached through density-gradient participation. Matter folds Aether units into denser participation, while surrounding Aether stretches toward that condition.

Time and Clock Rates

Clock ticks arise from material exchange processes. Clock-rate differences are interpreted as differences in Aether-unit participation along trajectories, not literal deformation of time.

Curl

Curl expresses rotational or torsional Aether participation. The ledger relation \({A_u}\cdot\mathrm{curl}={F_q}^{2}{\lambda_C}^{2}\) makes curl central to QMU closure.

Epistemic hierarchy

Exact QMU identities

\(c=\lambda_CF_q\), \(\mathrm{temp}=c^{2}\), \(A_A=\lambda_C^{2}\), Ledger One, \(A_u\equiv\mathrm{rmfd}\), and \(A_u=16\pi^{2}k_C\).

Derived geometry

Period lattice, orthogonal metric, finite winding, exact arc length, curvature, torsion, tube metric, cardioid registration, deformation factor, and susceptibility.

Selected closures

One-state normalization, the minimal even-harmonic deformation mode, and local no-redistribution scan-area synchronization.

Structural interpretations

Completed-scan particle exposure, the half-spin meaning of mflx/2, and Ligamen-mediated state inheritance.

Open dynamics

Force-specific load-to-mode laws, exact curl-to-connection response, hidden-return dynamics, multi-unit aggregation, dissipation, hysteresis, and engineering response.
