Magnetic Charge

Magnetic charge, written \({e_{emax}}^{2}\), is the magnetic side of charge in the Aether Physics Model. It complements electrostatic charge \(e^2\) and provides the charge foundation for loxodromic, torsional, rotational, and magnetic participation in QMU structure.

Definition

Magnetic charge is the APM charge quantity \({e_{emax}}^{2}\). It is related to electrostatic charge by the fine-structure constant and the geometric factor \(8\pi\alpha\):

\[ {e_{emax}}^{2}=\frac{e^2}{8\pi\alpha} \]

This quantity should be read as magnetic charge, not as Aether maximum magnetic charge. The Aether maximum magnetic charge is the separate quantity \({e_a}^{2}\).

Charge Geometry

Electrostatic charge \(e^2\) expresses the radial or projected side of charge. Magnetic charge \({e_{emax}}^{2}\) expresses the torsional and rotational side. Their relationship places charge directly into Aether geometry instead of treating charge as a dimensionless tag attached to matter.

Electrostatic side

\(e^2\) describes radial charge projection.

Magnetic side

\({e_{emax}}^{2}\) describes magnetic, torsional, and rotational charge participation.

Fine-Structure Relation

The fine-structure constant \(\alpha\) acts as the conversion structure between the electric and magnetic sides of charge. In normalized magnetic-charge form, the unified charge relation is:

\[ \frac{e^{2}}{8\pi\alpha}=1 \]

Restated dimensionally, this normalized identity corresponds to \({e_{emax}}^{2}\). This makes magnetic charge a direct charge-unit participant rather than a secondary descriptive analogy.

APM / QMU Role

Magnetic charge is one of the essential QMU foundations. It appears in QMU signatures wherever charge geometry requires torsional or magnetic participation. It is especially important in units involving magnetic flux, curl, conductance, resistance, impedance, and charge conversion.

\[ \mathrm{curl}=\frac{{e_{emax}}^{2}}{{m_e}{\lambda_C}} \]

This relation places magnetic charge directly into the rotational unit curl. Curl therefore becomes one of the clearest bridges from magnetic charge to rotational Aether structure.

Relation to Torsion and Holonomy

Magnetic charge belongs near torsion because it expresses the magnetic side of charge as a rotational or loxodromic participation. Torsion describes the twist; holonomy describes closed-path memory; magnetic charge supplies the charge foundation for that rotational side.

Aether Rotational Closure

Magnetic charge also participates in the broader closure structure connecting Aether geometry, curl, quantum frequency, Compton wavelength, and photon speed:

\[ {A_u}\cdot\mathrm{curl}={F_q}^{2}{\lambda_C}^{2}=c^2 \]

Since \(c={F_q}{\lambda_C}\), this identity places curl and magnetic charge into the same propagation closure neighborhood as squared photon speed.

Research Use

Magnetic charge is a strong candidate for continued QMU research because it gives the magnetic side of charge a quantified foundation. Useful directions include charge-conversion papers, torsional field models, curl-centered unit analysis, magnetic flux relationships, and experiments that compare radial electric projection with rotational magnetic participation.
