Magnetic Flux

Magnetic flux, written \(\mathrm{mflx}\), is the QMU magnetic-flux quantity reciprocal to conductance \({Cd}\). It connects magnetic charge, angular momentum, conductance, curl, and the magnetic side of Aether structure.

Definition

Magnetic flux is the QMU quantity \(\mathrm{mflx}\). It is reciprocal to conductance:

\[ {Cd}=\frac{1}{\mathrm{mflx}} \]

Equivalently, magnetic flux is the inverse of conductance:

\[ \mathrm{mflx}=\frac{1}{Cd} \]

Relation to Magnetic Charge

Magnetic flux directly relates angular momentum to magnetic charge. Since magnetic charge can be expressed as:

\[ {e_{emax}}^{2}=h\,{Cd} \]

and \({Cd}=1/\mathrm{mflx}\), the same relation can be written:

\[ {e_{emax}}^{2}=\frac{h}{\mathrm{mflx}} \]

Rearranging gives magnetic flux as angular momentum per magnetic charge:

\[ \mathrm{mflx}=\frac{h}{{e_{emax}}^{2}} \]

This is the core interpretive bridge: \(\mathrm{mflx}\) is not merely a field-counting quantity; it is the magnetic-flux relation that couples angular momentum \(h\) to magnetic charge \({e_{emax}}^{2}\).

QMU Formula

Magnetic flux can be expressed directly from QMU foundations as:

\[ \mathrm{mflx}=\frac{{m_e}{\lambda_C}^{2}{F_q}}{{e_{emax}}^{2}} \]

Since \(h={m_e}{\lambda_C}^{2}{F_q}\), this gives the same angular-momentum form:

\[ \mathrm{mflx}=\frac{h}{{e_{emax}}^{2}} \]
Angular momentum

\(h={m_e}{\lambda_C}^{2}{F_q}\) supplies the action/rotation foundation.

Magnetic charge

\({e_{emax}}^{2}\) supplies the magnetic charge foundation.

Magnetic Flux Squared and Eddy Structure

A distinctive QMU relationship is that magnetic flux squared gives the eddy-current unit:

\[ \mathrm{mflx}^{2}=\mathrm{eddy} \]

This is a unique QMU structural result. It means magnetic flux is not only a reciprocal partner of conductance; it is also the square-root structure of eddy current. The eddy unit therefore belongs directly to the magnetic-flux neighborhood and should be treated as a derived magnetic structure rather than an unrelated electrical artifact.

Since magnetic flux is also expressible as angular momentum per magnetic charge, \(\mathrm{mflx}=h/{e_{emax}}^{2}\), the eddy relation can be written:

\[ \mathrm{eddy}=\left(\frac{h}{{e_{emax}}^{2}}\right)^2 \]

This form gives the research bridge: eddy structure can be read as angular-momentum squared divided by magnetic charge squared. That makes \(\mathrm{mflx}^{2}=\mathrm{eddy}\) an important paper-grade identity for studying magnetic flux, eddy current, conductance, and QMU reciprocal closure.

Relation to Conductance

Conductance is the inverse magnetic-flux relation:

\[ {Cd}\,\mathrm{mflx}=1 \]

This makes \(\mathrm{mflx}\) and \({Cd}\) a clean reciprocal pair for QMU reciprocal-atlas analysis. Conductance reads the relation from flux inversion; magnetic flux reads the relation from angular momentum per magnetic charge.

Relation to Curl

Curl is defined from magnetic charge:

\[ \mathrm{curl}=\frac{{e_{emax}}^{2}}{{m_e}{\lambda_C}} \]

Because \(\mathrm{mflx}\) is built from \({m_e}\), \({\lambda_C}\), \({F_q}\), and \({e_{emax}}^{2}\), it belongs near curl in the magnetic-charge and rotational Aether neighborhood.

Relation to the Magnetic Flux Quantum

The QMU magnetic-flux unit has a direct relationship to the magnetic flux quantum \(\Phi_0\). When the magnetic flux quantum is normalized by the charge conversion factor \(\mathrm{ccf}\), the result is one-half of the QMU magnetic-flux unit:

\[ \frac{\Phi_0}{\mathrm{ccf}} = \frac{\mathrm{mflx}}{2} \]

Therefore:

\[ \mathrm{mflx} = 2\frac{\Phi_0}{\mathrm{ccf}} \]

This identifies \(\mathrm{mflx}\) as a whole-valued quantum-Hall-scale flux quantity. The QMU unit is not merely a fractional Hall artifact; it spans the complete flux structure represented by two normalized magnetic flux quanta.

This relation provides an experimental bridge between QMU magnetic flux, flux quantization, charge conversion, and quantum Hall measurements. Because \(\Phi_0\) is directly measurable, the equation gives a concrete comparison point for QMU magnetic-flux structure.

APM / QMU Role

Magnetic flux sits at the intersection of angular momentum, magnetic charge, conductance, eddy-current structure, quantum Hall structure, and rotational structure. It helps connect the QMU charge basis to flow, reciprocal behavior, the unique square relation \(\mathrm{mflx}^{2}=\mathrm{eddy}\), and the flux-quantum relation \(\Phi_0/\mathrm{ccf}=\mathrm{mflx}/2\), making it a useful concept for both human research and AI-facing graph traversal.

Research Use

Magnetic flux is a high-value research node because it reveals \(\mathrm{mflx}=\mathrm{angm}/{e_{emax}}^{2}\), \(\mathrm{mflx}^{2}=\mathrm{eddy}\), and \(\Phi_0/\mathrm{ccf}=\mathrm{mflx}/2\). Useful directions include tracing the \(\mathrm{mflx}/{Cd}\) reciprocal pair, studying angular momentum divided by magnetic charge, mapping the eddy-current square relation, comparing the QMU unit to quantum Hall flux measurements, mapping its relation to curl, and comparing magnetic flux with impedance-like QMU structures.
